Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies praised captain Andy Reid after the Ireland international starred in their 2-2 draw with Millwall.

Reid scored and also set up Nathaniel Chalobah’s equaliser. 

"Andy Reid put in a good captain's performance, that's what he does, he's a very good player. He's a player who just needs minutes in the game," said Davies after the game, which sees Forest just one place off the play-off position in the Sky Bet Championship. 

He added: "This is a very difficult place to come and get points and it's a very hard-fought point.

"We're patched up with injuries, I know we are. To play Chalobah, (Greg) Halford and Reid, as I said, they need minutes in games. We're football managers and coaches, we're not magicians, we'll do what we can.
