Tottenham Hotspur have accepted a bid from LA Galaxy for Republic of Ireland striker Robbie Keane according to reports.

Sky Sports’ Chief News Reporter Bryan Swanson has said Spurs have accepted a bid, believed to have been in the region of £3million, from Galaxy.

The Major League Soccer transfer window closes in the early hours of Monday morning so the race is on for Keane to thrash out personal terms with the club.

It is believed Juan Pablo Angel will need to leave the club as they already have three Designated Players at Galaxy, the maximum number a MLS club can have.
