Wayne Rooney was celebrating after breaking the 100-goal barrier for Manchester United at the DW Stadium in an easy win against Wigan Athletic.

The England striker scored twice in the 4-0 victory against Wigan in a fine second-half show by the champions.

Dimitar Berbatov, Michael Owen - with his first goal for the club - and Nani also found the target as they bounced back from that defeat by Burnley.
