Milan rule out Adebayor/Shevchenko

AC Milan have ended their interest in Arsenal's Emmanuel Adebayor and Chelsea's Andriy Shevchenko after buying Ronaldinho, chief executive Adriano Galliani said on Wednesday.

Adebayor has been linked in the media with Barcelona, Ronaldinho's former club, while ex-Milan striker Shevchenko looks set to stay at the London club. Milan were also tracking Chelsea's Didier Drogba but never made a serious approach.

'The market for Milan is closed with Ronaldinho. As far as arrivals are concerned, we are finished, absolutely,' Galliani told a news conference.

Galliani said some reserve players like defender Dario Simic and striker Alberto Paloschi could be allowed to leave.
