Tuesday's Champions League Results

Napoli 3-1 Chelsea
Nap: Lavezzi 38,65 Cavani 45+2
Chel: Mata 27

CSKA Moscow 1-1 Real Madrid
CSKA: Wernbloom 90
Real: Ronaldo 28

Full Time 3-1 Chelsea have it all to do at Stamford Bridge after going down by two goals in Naples. The main consolation for André Villas-Boas' side is that they take a valuable away goal with them to London so a 2-0 victory would still see them through. Not impossible but will MR AVB be around to pick that all-important starting XI or will there be a new manager in the hot seat at the Bridge for the second leg.

65mins GOAL Lavezzi, Ball over the top and David Luiz fails to clear - trying to be clever and flicking the ball over Cavani. But the Uruguay international gets his body in the way of the ball and squares to Lavezzi as Cech is in no man's land and Lavezzi makes no mistake guiding the ball past the man on the goal-line.

46mins Cavani goal update - An obscure TV angle has appeared that kind of shows the ball coming off Cavani's shoulder opposed to his upper arm so perhaps a piece of genius rather than cheating from the Napoli goalscorer. Ref was also in a great place so maybe a great call by the official after all.

HALF TIME: 2-1 This game has turned on its head as two quick goals give Napoli the half-time lead. The home side were the better of the two sides in the opening period, however, the main talking point will be Cavani's goal, which looks like an arm was used by the Uruguay international.

45mins GOAL Cavani 2-1, A diagnol ball across the Chelsea penalty box is despatched by Cavani from close range but looked like an arm was used to smash the ball past the hapless Cech. A controversial end to the half as the home side take the lead.

38mins: GOAL LAVEZZI, 1-1 No more than the home side deserved as Lavezzi makes some space to shoot from distance and curls a beauty past an outstretched Petr Cech who had no chance. Honours even at the Sao Paola as the home supporters find their voice again.

27mins: GOAL MATA 0-1, Chelsea deal with lots of early pressure and have Petr Cech to thank for keeping them in the game with some early saves. The away side gradually get back into the game and are gifted an away goal as a mis-timed clearance allows Mata in to sidefoot the ball past Italy's third choice keeper Morgan De Sanctis.
