Tickets for Ireland's Euro 2016 Group E clash with Sweden are among the most sought after for the tournament, UEFA have revealed.

As applications for tickets for each team via dedicated portals ends today, UEFA revealed that they have already received 3.5 million applications for tickets and that applications from Republic of Ireland supporters are among the highest.

The five teams whose fans submitted the most applications through their dedicated ticket portal are: Republic of Ireland, Poland, France, Austria, Switzerland.

The three most in-demand games are: Republic of Ireland-Sweden (Saint-Denis, 13 June), Germany-Poland (Saint-Denis, 16 June) and Portugal-Austria (Paris, 18 June).

Ireland have received 13,000 tickets for that clash with Sweden in the French capital, 6,000 for their match with with Belgium in Bordeaux and 7,000 for the final group game against Italy in Lille.

Successful applicants will be notified of the results of their application no later than 29 February.

Supporters looking for general tickets, not following any specific team still have an opportunity to apply for tickets through a lottery process.
