Setanta Cup details announced with the competition draw taking place on 6 December

The 12 clubs that will participate in the 2013 Setanta Sports Cup have been confirmed with Sligo Rovers, Linfield, Derry City and the defending champions Crusaders seeded for the competition.

The draw for the first round will take place on Thursday 6 December in Stormont.

It will include unseeded clubs Cliftonville, Drogheda United, Glentoran, St Patrick’s Athletic, Portadown, Shamrock Rovers, Coleraine and Cork City.

The first legs of the opening round will take place on 11 February and the second leg on 18 February.

The second leg date is subject to Irish Cup replays and the reserve date will be Tuesday 26 February.

The quarter-finals are fixed for 4 and 11 March with the second leg date subject to Irish Cup replays and the reserve date will be 19 March.

The semi-finals are scheduled for 16 and 22 April with the final taking place on 11 May.
