Dundalk have confirmed the signings of Michael Rafter, Robert Waters, Luke Danville and Dan Cunningham.

Tipperary native Rafter is a 19-year-old forward who previously spent time in England at Colchester United, before getting his first taste of League of Ireland football with Waterford United last season.

He is a former Borris/Saint Kevin’s and Saint Michael’s youngster, while he has been capped at all levels between U15 and U19 by the Republic of Ireland.

Cork-born Waters is a 21-year-old midfielder. Currently a student, he has played for Cork City and UCC, and was part of the Irish U18 home-based squad in 2008.

Galway native Cunningham, who has just turned 21, is a left-back who joins from Mervue United - following Ger Hanley and John Mountney to Oriel Park.

The young defender is a twin brother of Greg, who is currently on loan to Nottingham Forest from Manchester City.

Danville, a 21-year-old from Barnsley, arrives from England, having previously played for Wakefield.

The quartet take Seán McCaffrey’s squad to 18.
