Kuyt sidelined with shoulder injury

Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt has been ruled out Holland's Euro 2012 qualifier at home to Finland with a shoulder problem.

The 30-year-old sustained the injury in training today and coach Bert van Marwijk believes it could sideline the player for some time.

'I think he might be out for a few weeks,' the Holland boss told uefa.com.

Kuyt will fly back to Merseyside for further assessment and treatment by Liverpool's medical staff at the club's Melwood training ground.
