Bohemians v St Patrick's Athletic

Bohemians and St Patrick's Athletic will vie for top spot in the Airtricity League Premier Division at Dalymount Park tonight.

St Pat's have a two-point advantage over the home side, but a win for either would move them beyond Shamrock Rovers.

Bohs were thrashed 4-0 by TNS in the Champions League last week but are unbeaten in nine games domestically.

Pat Fenlon was pleased with his side's victory over Bray Wanderers last week, which followed the European elimination.

Fenlon said: 'This is a big game. We've had two really competitive matches against St Pat's already this season, so I expect this one will be no different.

'I think my players showed great character over last weekend with the Bray game and then the win over Aston Villa.

'I firmly believe that we have a team here that's capable of winning the league again and that's what we are aiming to do.

'We've only lost one in 14 so I am happy enough, especially with the form we've showed since the mid-season break. We've been fairly settled, the team is beginning to take shape and I'm quite pleased with our position in the table.'

Raffaele Cretaro is a doubt with a hip injury, while Steven Gray and Anto Murphy are receiving treatment on Achilles injuries.

St Pat's manager Pete Mahon is determined that his side remain above the Gypsies at the end of the night.

Mahon said: 'The last time we travelled to Dalymount we were top of the league and we left top of the league and that is our intention again for tomorrow night.

'Some might look at it as a showdown but there is no use in us beating Bohs and then losing the next three games and the same for them.

'It may give the winners a bit of a psychological advantage heading into the next set of games and with Bohs at home the pressure will be on them to deliver.'

Shane Guthrie (calf) is a doubt and could join Gareth Coughlan (broken leg) on the sidelines.
