O'Callaghan joins Brighton on trial

George O'Callaghan has joined Brighton on trial after being released by Yeovil Town earlier this week, but Roddy Collins is reported to be interested in bringing the talented midfielder back to Cork City.

O'Callaghan previously had a loan spell with the Seagulls and manager Gus Poyet will assess the 30-year-old before making a decision.

Reports on Thursday claimed that new Cork manager Collins is interested in bringing O'Callaghan to Leeside for a third spell at his hometown club.
