Today has seen a dramatic victory for Sporting Fingal in the FAI Ford Cup final, a busy day of GAA All-Ireland Club Football semi-finals, a remarkable Premier League win for Tottenham and a tour de force from Lee Westwood in Dubai.

There was also action in the Premier League, where Stoke have beaten Portsmouth.

In the Clydesdale Bank Scottish Premier League Tony Mowbray's Celtic were beaten 2-1 by Dundee United.

GAA:

Garrycastle in Leinster, and Kilmurry-Ibrickane and Kerins O'Rahillys in Munster were the winners in the AIB GAA All-Ireland Club Provincial Championship semi-finals, while the clash between Clara and Portlaoise will have to be replayed as it was abandoned shortly after half-time.

The AIB Connacht Club SFC final between Charlestown and Corofin was called off.

Lee Westwood won the Dubai World Championship and the Race to Dubai with a flawless performance at the Earth Course, with title rival Rory McIlroy taking third place.
