Ancelotti not planning Bridge exit

Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti insists he will not quit the Blues even if the Italy job becomes vacant at the end of the summer.

Speculation continues to mount that Azzurri boss Marcello Lippi will step down after the World Cup, with Ancelotti one of the favourites to take over.

However, the former AC Milan coach, who only took over at Stamford Bridge in the summer, claims he will not cut short his time at Chelsea.

'The Azzurri coach next year certainly won't be me,' Ancelotti told Italian daily La Repubblica.

'I am Chelsea coach, let's see how this beautiful adventure will end.'

Ancelotti admits, however, that he would love to one day take charge of a national team.

'The idea of being a national team coach is really tantalising for me,' he added.
