Keane and Duff injured in club action

Robbie Keane and Damien Duff are injury doubts for the World Cup play-off matches with France after both players were apparently off injured in Premier League matches for their respective teams on Saturday.

Keane went off after 65 minutes for Tottenham Hotspur against Arsenal, though no ailment was apparent when he left the pitch, there have been unconfirmed reports that the striker was carrying some injury.

Duff was replaced at half-time for Fulham in their victory over Liverpool because of an Achilles knock.

There is no news yet on how serious the injuries are, but it will provide a huge worry to Giovanni Trapattoni ahead of the play-off with France in two weeks time.
