Manchester City v Wolves

Manchester City pair Robinho (ankle) and Emmanuel Adebayor (groin) are doubtful for the Barclays Premier League visit of Mick McCarthy's side.

Both players sat out the friendly victory against Barcelona in midweek and their fitness will be monitored ahead of the game.
Wayne Bridge also has a hamstring problem but is expected to be available while Roque Santa Cruz, Vincent Kompany and Michael Johnson remain sidelined.

Wolves are boosted by the return of striker Kevin Doyle and central defender Christophe Berra.

Doyle and Berra have missed the opening two games of the season with groin and hamstring problems respectively but are likely to have to be content with places on the bench as Mick McCarthy names an unchanged team following Tuesday's 1-0 win at Wigan.

Striker Sylvan Ebanks-Blake (hamstring) and right-back Kevin Foley (knee) are still missing while forward Chris Iwelumo (foot) and winger Michael Kightly (foot and hip) remain long-term casualties.

Manchester City squad: Given, Zabaleta, Dunne, Toure, Ben Haim, Onuoha, Bridge, De Jong, Barry, Ireland, Wright-Phillips, Weiss, Robinho, Adebayor, Bellamy, Tevez, Richards, Garrido, Etuhu, Vidal, McGivern, Petrov, Benjani, Taylor.

Wolverhampton Wanderers squad: Hennessey, Hahnemann, Ikeme, Stearman, Berra, Craddock, Mancienne, Zubar, Ward, Elokobi, Hill, Halford, Surman, Henry, Milijas, Jones, Jarvis, Edwards, Keogh, Vokes, Doyle, Spray.
