Aguero set to stay in Madrid

Atletico Madrid striker Sergio Aguero has reiterated his desire to remain at the Vicente Calderon.

The Argentina international has been linked with a host of top European clubs this summer but, having scored in last night's 3-2 Champions League play-off win at Panathinaikos, he again spoke of his determination to stay at Atletico.

'I have always said that I wanted to stay here and it has happened,' he told Spanish newspaper Marca.

'I am pleased with my goal but more pleased with the win. We played well although we relaxed a little at 3-1 up.'
