Portsmouth v Bolton Wanderers
Friday, 17 April 2009 11:24Glen Johnson and Sean Davis are expected to return to Portsmouth's side for the Barclays Premier League visit of Bolton Wanderers.
Younes Kaboul and Richard Hughes appear most vulnerable if the pair are recalled, with Johnson available after suspension and Davis now recovered from a knock.
Jermaine Pennant should be fit despite being substituted in some discomfort during last week's clash with West Brom, but on-loan Greek striker Theofanis Gekas could be among the substitutes.
Reserve goalkeeper Jamie Ashdown is fit again after three months absence with an ankle injury but Canadian Amir Begovic is likely to continue as cover for David James.
Bolton defender Danny Shittu is a major doubt. The Nigeria international suffered an ankle injury in a collision with Didier Drogba in the 4-3 defeat to Chelsea last weekend and has been having intensive treatment all week.
Manager Gary Megson has no other fresh injury concerns and is likely to keep faith in the same players who lost at Stamford Bridge, meaning young midfielder Chris Basham, who scored last week, will again have to settle for a place on the bench.
