Drogheda United 2-2 Shamrock Rovers

Padraig Amond's 85th-minute equaliser broke Drogheda's hearts in a thriller at rainy United Park.

John Paul Kelly volleyed against the post for the Drogs on 18 minutes, but Rovers immediately struck against the run of play when Gary Twigg netted from close range.

Paul Shiels ended the Boynesiders' goal drought with a fine strike on 47 minutes, and Alan Mathews' men were on course for their first win when Robbie Farrell blasted home on 73, but Rovers rallied and substitute Amond made it 2-2 with a bullet header.
