Doyle signs new Reading contract

Republic of Ireland international striker Kevin Doyle has committed his future to Reading by signing a new three-year contract with the Coca-Cola Championship club.

Doyle, who had been linked with a transfer window move to several Premier League clubs, claims that he signed the contract to end speculation about his future.

'The club and I didn't want uncertainty in January, we wanted to clear things up now and then just try to get back into the Premiership in what is a massive season for us,'he said.
