Russia and Brazil move up world rankings

Russia and Brazil were the big beneficiaries at the top of the rankings when FIFA published their latest list on Wednesday.

Russia moved back into the top 10, climbing three places to ninth, while Brazil were up two spots to fourth.

European champions Spain remained at the top of the rankings, ahead of world champions Italy and Germany.

The Republic of Ireland remain in 38th position in the latest world rankings.

England are up one place to 14th, Scotland move down to 26th, Northern Ireland are down to 35th while Wales are 61st.
