Glentoran 1-0 St Patrick's Athletic

Glentoran sealed their place in the semi-finals of the Setanta Cup as a goal from Darryl Fordyce was enough for victory at The Oval.

Fordyce profited from a mistake from Barry Ryan when the goalkeeper failed to connect properly with a corner and the midfielder bundled the ball home.

Pat's needed to win to advance in the competition. Mark Quigley had their best chance in the first half when he was teed up by Glen Fitzpatrick, but he shot into the side-netting.

Both sides had chances in the second half but Glentoran hung on to advance to the final four for the first time and they will play Drogheda United in United Park.
