Seagulls swoop for Foran & Keogh

Bray Wanderers have completed the signings of Derek Foran and Philip Keogh.

Foran, who had initially been on loan from St Patrick's Athletic, has signed a permanent deal with the Seagulls.

The uncompromising central defender has been a revelation since joining Bray on transfer deadline day at the start of the 2008 season.

Philip 'Pip' Keogh, who was previously with Bray before taking a sabbatical from the game to travel, has also pledged his future to the club.

The versatile Bray native can play on the left side of midfield or in defence.

Keogh has won 3 FAI Cup medals during his career and has made over 250 appearances for Wanderers. He was also voted into the Bray Wanderers all-time X1 by Seagulls supporters in 2007.

Bray supermo Eddie Gormley told the club's official website: 'I am delighted to bring the two lads in.

'Derek has been with us since the start of the season on loan but it's great that he is now our player and not just on loan.

'Pip coming back to the club is also great news for us, he is a few weeks away from match fitness but he'll work hard to get up to full steam and we will see the benefits of this at the business end of the season.

'He can play in a number of positions which will give us great options and his experience will be vital to us in what is a pretty young squad.'
