Galway United 0-1 Drogheda United

Drogheda United eked out a critical win at Terryland Park to keep their title dream alive.

Though Galway United carved several opportunities during an interesting first half the games complexion altered significantly following Ollie Cahill's sharp 57th minute goal.

Cahill applied the finishing touch to a move that featured Jason Gavin and Sami Ristilla as Drogs dominated the second period.

Late on Derek Glynn, John Russell, and John Fitzgerald went close for Galway, but Drogs held on.
