Torres fit for Inter Milan tie

Liverpool striker Fernando Torres will be fit to face Inter Milan in the Champions League first knockout round, first leg at Anfield next Tuesday.

The in-form Torres, who has scored 12 Premier League goals this season, injured his thigh in Spain's 1-0 friendly win over France on 6 February but has now returned to training.

'For Inter, Torres will be okay,' Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez told the club Web Site (www.liverpoolfc.tv).

'We'll have to check before Barnsley. Now it is about whether or not we will take the risk.'

Liverpool face Championship side Barnsley in an FA Cup fifth round tie at Anfield on Saturday.
