Republic unchanged in FIFA rankings

The Republic of Ireland remain in 36th place in the latest FIFA world rankings, while Northern Ireland are down two places to 34th.

England have moved up a place but remain outside the top ten in eleventh, Scotland are three places further back, while Wales are 54th.

Argentina remain top of the pile, followed by Brazil and Italy, while Ghana have surged to 14th, up 29 places, as a result of their performance in the African Cup of Nations.

Central American country Belize have climbed off the bottom of the rankings following their first win in six years and have been replaced by Montserrat.
