Hunt in the dark over move

Stephen Hunt has said that Reading and Ireland fans are more likely to find out about a possible move to Sunderland before he is.

Writing exclusively in Star Sunday today, the Waterford born Royal star said: 'You may find it hard to believe, but Sky Sports News is the information channel for me as far as this story is concerned and it looks likely to stay that way.

'Reading have turned down another bid from Roy Keane, this time worth €6.7million, but I only heard about it exactly the same way that you did.

'I know Steve Coppell has come out and said that Sunderland can keep bidding and he will keep turning them down, which is flattering, and I've read that Roy Keane may come in with another bid, but trust me when I tell you I am in the dark about all this.'

He added: 'As far as I'm concerned I'm a Reading player and committed to the Royal cause unless I'm told otherwise.'
