Sunderland team news

Sunderland manager Roy Keane will have on-loan Manchester United defender Jonny Evans in his squad for tomorrow's FA Cup third round clash with Wigan.

The 20-year-old has completed a temporary move until the end of the season for the second successive year.

His arrival could hardly have come at a better time for Keane with Dwight Yorke suspended after his sending-off at Blackburn and striker Kenwyne Jones struggling with a knee problem.

In addition, midfielder Dickson Etuhu (medial ligament) is out, while Darren Ward (back), Danny Higginbotham (broken toe) and Michael Chopra (ankle) are doubts.

Sunderland squad: Gordon, Ward, Fulop, McShane, Halford, Harte, Evans, Higginbotham, Collins, Leadbitter, Wallace, Whitehead, Richardson, O'Donovan, Jones, Chopra, Waghorn, Murphy, Stokes, Cole.
