Murray leaves Cork City for Cobh

Kevin Murray has signed for Cobh Ramblers from Leeside rivals Cork City.

Ramblers boss Stephen Henderson confirmed that the 23-year-old centre half had penned a one year deal with the club.

Murray, a former Cork Kennedy Cup captain and Leicester City trialist, was part of the Cork City eircom Premier Division title winning squad last season. He has also played for Leeds AFC in Cork.

"Kevin has signed with us on a one year contract and I hope to announce a number of new signings in the next week or so," said Henderson.

Henderson this week signed Colin P O'Brien, who has previously played with Limerick FC and Cork City.
