Cobh land Limerick striker O'Brien

Cobh Ramblers have signed striker Colin P O'Brien from Limerick on a one year contract.

Ramblers boss Stephen Henderson confirmed that O'Brien, from Cork, had returned to Leeside, after spending two seasons with the Blues.

Henderson added that he will be looking to strengthen his squad in the coming weeks with at least three new signings.

Meanwhile Cobh assistant manager Steve Neiland is taking a sabbatical from football but hopes to be back in March.

Neiland, who has been manager of the  Cork Kennedy Cup side in recent seasons, said he is taking a break due to work commitments and travel.

"Because of my job I do a lot of travel and I am just taking a break for about three months but I expect to be back before the start of the season", said Neiland.
