Cobh ramble into second place

Cobh Ramblers moved up to second place in the eircom League First Division following a 4-1 hammering of Monaghan United at St Colman's Park.

Ciaran O'Reilly opened the scoring on 38 minutes, Kenny Coleman doubled the lead on 50 before O'Reilly netted his second on 63.

Davin O'Neill rounded off the scoring on 69 before John Reilly scored a consolation for Monaghan in the last minute.
