Menton claims Keane will not play again

Brendan Menton, general secretary of the Football Association of Ireland, has been quoted as saying former international team captain Roy Keane will not play for his country again. Menton said that Ireland's impressive performance at the World Cup finals showed the squad could prosper without their leading player claiming there is enough talent in the current crop of players to get by without him.
