McCarthy makes two changes for Andorra clash

Mick McCarthy has named his team for the World Cup qualifier against Andorra tomorrow night, making two changes from the team that defeated Cyprus 4-0.

Matt Holland comes in for Mark Kinsella in the centre of the park, while on the right wing Jason McAteer pays the price for a lacklustre display against Cyprus by losing out to Damien Duff. Kinsella had only recently returned to playing at club level, following a lengthy absence due to injury, and it had long been expected that playing two international games in five days would be beyond him. McAteer meanwhile has been struggling for form since his impressive performance against Holland in the opening qualifier, and Duff's quality displays in recent weeks for Blackburn had earmarked him as a likely starter.

Republic of Ireland: Shay Given (Newcastle Utd); Gary Kelly (Leeds Utd), Kenny Cunningham (Wimbledon), Gary Breen (Coventry City), Ian Harte (Leeds Utd); Damien Duff (Blackburn Rovers), Roy Keane (Manchester Utd), Matt Holland (Ipswich Town), Kevin Kilbane (Sunderland); Robbie Keane (Leeds Utd - on loan from Inter Milan), David Connolly (Feyenoord)
