Players Tour Grand Final to return to Ireland

World Snooker have confirmed that the Grand Finals of this year's Players' Tour Championship will return to Ireland.

The Bailey Allen Hall in Galway has been confirmed as the host venue for the event which will run from 14-18 March next.

The 24 most successful players from the 12 regular season events will qualify for the finals and, as it stands, Fergal O'Brien is the only Irish man in contention.

Shaun Murphy won the Championship last year when The Helix in Dublin hosted the Grand Finals.

In Galway, the players will be battling for ranking points as well as a total prize fund of £250,000, with a winner's prize of £70,000.
