All three of our Ladbrokes Charity Bet participants managed to make a good profit for their charities this year.
'The public' just pipped Ryle at the post with a €930 profit to the commentator's €910, with a shrew investment on Ronan O'Gara to land all his kicks against Italy at 6/1 making the difference.
Brent Pope narrowly missed out one or two big pay-offs but still made a solid profit, winning €585 for the IRFU Charitable Trust.

Ryle's Bet: Ryle's final weekend wager of €100 euro on Ireland to beat Wales at 5/4 was a winner.
Tournament Bet: Ryle's €100 on Ireland to win the Championship at 3/1 also came good.

Brent Pope for the IRFU Charitable Trust
Brent's Bet: A €100 handicap bet on Ireland (-7) to beat Wales at 11/4 didn't quite come off, as Wales scrambled their way back into the game in the second half.
Tournament Bet: Brent's €100 on Ireland to win the Championship at 3/1 was a winner.
Balance: €585
The Public for GOAL:
'The Public's' Bet: The public had faith in Ireland, putting their €100 at 5/4. They weren't disappointed.
Tournament Bet: Wales to win the Grand Slam at 5/1 (lost).
