Thursday, 5 February 2009All three of our Ladbrokes Charity Bet participants managed to make a good profit for their charities this year.
'The public' just pipped Ryle at the post with a €930 profit to the commentator's €910, with a shrew investment on Ronan O'Gara to land all his kicks against Italy at 6/1 making the difference.
Brent Pope narrowly missed out one or two big pay-offs but still made a solid profit, winning €585 for the IRFU Charitable Trust.
