Italy head coach Jacques Brunel makes three changes to the side that lost to France for Saturday’s tie with Scotland at Stadio Olimpico (1.30pm)

Robert Barbieri comes in for the first time this campaign and Alessandro Zanni is once more elevated from the bench.

In the backs Angelo Esposito resumes in the 14 shirt, with Tomasso Iannone switching back to the bench.

Among the replacements are Matias Aguero and Paul Derbyshire, included for the first time in the RBS 6 Nations since 2010 and 2013 respectively.

Martin Castrogiovanni and Sergio Parisse both make their 104th test appearance to jointly set a new Italian record.

Italy: Luke McLean, Angelo Esposito, Michele Campagnaro, Gonzalo Garcia, Leonardo Sarto, Tommaso Allan, Edoardo Gori; Alberto De Marchi, Leonardo Ghiraldini, Martin Castrogiovanni, Quintin Geldenhuys, Joshua Furno, Alessandro Zanni, Robert Barbieri, Sergio Parisse. 

Replacements: Davide Giazzon, Matias Aguero, Lorenzo Cittadini, Marco Bortolami, Paul Derbyshire,  Tobias Botes, Luciano Orquera, Tommaso Iannone.
