Scotland's Richie Gray is out of his side's clash with France

Scotland lock Richie Gray will miss Scotland's final RBS 6 Nations match of the season against France next Saturday.

Gray injured him hamstring playing for the Scots in their defeat to Wales last Saturday and will undergo a scan on Monday to assess the extent of the injury.

"At this stage I can confirm he will play no further part in this year's championship," said Scotland team doctor James Robson.

"It would be premature to speculate further at the moment.

"Richie is due to be scanned tomorrow with a view to a more accurate assessment of the injury he sustained on Saturday."
