Connacht’s Robbie Henshaw has been named in the Ireland Under-20 team for this Friday’s against England at Dubarry Park, Athlone.

Head coach Mike Ruddock gives Henshaw his first Under-20’s cap at full back. 

Henshaw who appeared for the O2 Ireland Wolfhounds last month has been named alongside David Panter and Rory Scholes in a new look back three.

Mark Roche, also making his first appearance of the tournament, will partner Tom Daly in the centre.

Peter Dooley has been named in the front row alongside George McGuigan and Chris Taylor.

Watch Ireland Under-20 v England Under-20 live on RTÉ 2 and online at RTE.ie on Friday evening from 7.30pm.
