London Irish lock Bob Casey will lead Ireland A against England Saxons in Dublin on Friday night.
Casey will continue in the role he filled during last summer's Churchill Cup and is joined in the side by several capped players.
Wasps' Eoin Reddan will start at scrum-half at Donnybrook following his demotion from the senior team while full-back Gavin Duffy and winger Andrew Trimble both have Test experience.
Jonathan Sexton of Leinster has been given the task of shackling Danny Cipriani at fly-half following the England star's shock inclusion among the second string.
Shane Jennings and Neil Best give Ireland's back row a robust look.
