The full extent of Sean O'Brien's shoulder injury, sustained during Leinster's 19-6 victory over Ulster in the RaboDirect PRO12 this evening, remains unclear.

Reports initially indicated that he had suffered a dislocated shoulder, which was popped back into place by the Leinster medics, before he watched the rest of the match from the sidelines.

Following the tie, Leinster revealed that O'Brien will undergo a medical assessment on the injury tomorrow to discover the full extent of any potential damage.

A statement will be released by Leinster in due course, most likely tomorrow; however, the full details on the injury may not be known until Monday.
