Felix Jones has been ruled out of Munster's RaboDirect PRO12 game against Glasgow Warriors next Friday night due to an ankle sprain suffered in the win over Gloucester last Saturday.

Denis Hurley will undergo a scan on his left knee to identify possible medial ligament damage and is a doubt for the game.

Donnacha Ryan took a knock to his knee and will also undergo a scan and meet with a specialist before his prognosis is confirmed.

Niall Ronan who was ruled out the morning of the Gloucester game after failing to pass a fitness test will continue to be monitored as the week progresses.

There was positive news for Luke O'Dea as he saw 30 minutes of game-time for the first time since March, lining out with his club side Shannon against Dolphin in the Munster Senior Cup.
