Connacht head coach Eric Elwood has made just one change to the side that beat Harlequins in the Heineken Cup for Friday's Rabodirect Pro12 clash with Cardiff Blues.

Dave McSharry has recovered from a shoulder injury to replace Henry Fa'afili at inside centre.

However Connacht's selectors are still hampered by the non-availability of a number of players.

Andrew Browne (Achilles), Eoin Griffin (hamstring), Johnny O'Connor (facial fracture), Rodney Ah You (foot) and Frank Murphy (groin) are still not in contention, though many hope to be available for selection next week.

Connacht team to play Cardiff Blues in the Rabodirect Pro12 at Cardiff Arms Park on Friday 10 February:

Gavin Duffy, Fetu'u Vainikolo, Kyle Tonetti, Dave McSharry, Tiernan O'Halloran, Niall O'Connor, Paul O'Donohoe, Brett Wilkinson, Adrian Flavin, Ronan Loughney, Michael Swift, Mike McCarthy, John Muldoon, Ray Ofisa, George Naoupu

Replacements: Ethienne Reynecke, Denis Buckley, Stewart Maguire, Dave Gannon, Mick Kearney, Dave Moore, Matthew Jarvis, Henry Fa'afili
