Already without their international contingent, Munster suffered further blows with the loss of second row Chris Wyatt and three-quarter Barry Murphy.

Murphy has been lost to illness and did not travel for the match while Wyatt has been lost to a sligth leg injury.

The switches mean Ross Noonan comes onto the bench for O'Connor and Under-21 international Keith Earls is brought onto the bench as a sub back.

First XV: Christian Cullen; Brian Carney, Lifeimi Mafi, Trevor Halstead, Ian Dowling; Eoghan Hickey, Tomas O'Leary; Eugene McGovern, Jerry Flannery, Tony Buckley; Shane O'Connor, Donnacha Ryan; Alan Quinlan, Tim McGann, John O'Sullivan.
