Anthony Foley will take over as Munster forwards coach at the end of the current season.

Earlier this season, Foley, capped 201 times by Munster, was appointed the forwards coach to the Ireland Wolfhounds.

He takes over from Laurie Fisher who completes a three season term with the province, having served as technical advisor and assistant defence coach since retiring at the end of the 2007/2008 season.

In addition he was head coach to the Munster U20s and to the Munster British & Irish Cup squad that reached the inaugural B&I Cup final.
