Ulster coach Mark Anscombe has admitted that Stephen Ferris is likely to leave the province at the end of the season.

The Ireland and Lions flanker, whose contract expires at the end of June, has been linked with a move to Japan.

Anscombe said he didn't know if any deal has been signed and sealed, but that it was most probable that Ferris would be leaving the Rqavenhill club in the Summer.

Meanwhile, Tommy Bowe is in line to make his first start for Ulster since December in Friday's RaboDirect Pro12 clash with the Dragons at Ravenhill.

The recently returned Ireland wing has been included in an extended twenty-five man squad for Friday's game at Ravenhill.

Andrew Trimble and Paddy Jackson are being rested, so will not feature on Friday.
