Girvan Dempsey appointed as Leinster Academy manager

Former Ireland international Girvan Dempsey has been appointed as Leinster's new Academy manager, the IRFU have confirmed.

Dempsey, 37, has been involved with the province as a player from schools level right up to the professional ranks and has been working within the player development structures.

He will work with emerging players graduating from schools and clubs.

Dempsey replaces Colin McEntee, who was recently appointed as the IRFU High Performance manager.
