Ulster captain Johann Muller is expected to be out for eight weeks after suffering a hand injury in Friday night’s Heineken Cup win over Glasgow at Scotstoun.
The South Africa lock ruptured ligaments around his thumb, a scan revealed.
Ulster Rugby released a statement on Sunday afternoon confirming that the 32-year-old would be out of action for eight weeks.
