Joe Schmidt and the Ireland management team have named four uncapped players in their 30-man squad for this summer's tour of Argentina: Munster prop James Cronin, Ulster back-row Robbie Diack and hooker Rob Herring and Connacht scrum-half Kieran Marmion.

Leinster's Dave Kearney misses out on the squad following a knee injury sustained playing for Leinster in their victory over Ulster in the Pro12 semi-finals at the weekend.

Ulster's Tommy Bowe also misses out on selection, while Leinster's Ian Madigan and Gordon D'Arcy are two further big names not to be included.

The squad will fly to Buenos Aires on Sunday 1 June - the day after the Pro12 final between Leinster and Glasgow Warriors.

The first Test takes place at the Estadio Centenario in Resistancia in Chaco Province in the north-east of the country on Saturday 7 June.
