Luke McGrath to captain U20s against Australia at Junior World Championships

Scrum-half Luke McGrath will captain the Ireland Under-20 team for their opening game of the Junior World Championship against Australia.

McGrath is just one of two players who have previous experience playing in the tournament, which is being held in France.

The other, Josh Van Der Flier, has been named in the back row.

Ireland share pool B with Australia, Fiji and New Zealand.

Ireland’s pool games will be broadcast live on TG4. along with the semi-finals and final games of the tournament.
