Rory Best could play for Ulster in Friday's Heineken Cup match with Montpellier after recovering from an arm injury.

Best was expected to be out of action for at least another week after breaking his arm while playing for Ireland in the last-gasp loss against New Zealand in the Guinness Series.

Best is ahead of schedule and could come into the Ulster starting line-up aginst the French side. 

It is also a boost to Ireland ahead of next month's RBS 6 Nations.
