Munster pair Denis Hurley and Donnacha Ryan have been ruled out for the foreseeable future after picking up injuries in Saturday's Heineken Cup clash against Gloucester.

Both players will miss Munster’s RaboDirect PRO12 clash away to Glasgow Warriors on Friday night, while should still be ruled out for the next round of the Heineken Cup in December.

A statement on the Munster Rugby website read: “Ryan who strained ligaments in his left knee will be out of consideration for approximately ten weeks and Denis Hurley who suffered medial ligament damage is ruled out for approximately five weeks.”
